About CJC-1295 NO DAC

CJC-1295 without Drug Affinity Complex

Research background as published in the scientific literature. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only; nothing here is a claim about use in humans or animals.

CJC-1295 NO DAC is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that lacks the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) found in some versions of CJC-1295. The absence of DAC results in a shorter half-life (~30 minutes), producing GH release patterns that more closely mimic endogenous pulsatile secretion.

Research has examined this compound for its ability to stimulate somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary, with studies investigating downstream effects on IGF-1 levels, body composition parameters, and metabolic markers. It is commonly studied in combination with ghrelin mimetics such as Ipamorelin to target complementary GH release pathways.

  1. 01GHRH Receptor AgonismCJC-1295 NO DAC acts as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analogue, stimulating GHRH-R on pituitary somatotrophs. Research examines how this stimulation influences GH pulse amplitude and frequency in laboratory models.
  2. 02Pulsatile GH ReleaseWithout the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), this form produces shorter-duration GH stimulation more consistent with natural pulsatile GH release patterns. Research contrasts its pharmacokinetic profile with the DAC-containing version.
  3. 03IGF-1 PathwayResearch has examined downstream effects of CJC-1295 NO DAC on hepatic IGF-1 production, examining the relationship between acute GH pulses and sustained IGF-1 signalling in endocrine research models.
